Imagine an early Autumn day You've nowhere to be And no one to answer to You're free Imagine the edge of a forest A space to begin All that you are and were within Imagine the time of the dragonflies The time of the stars Science and poetry Who you are Never forget how deeply I have loved you for all of these years Imagine the atoms and molecules The air that you breathe Eternity enters you And will leave Imagine a seat by the window The edge of the sea All is a moment As it should be Imagine the time you've been given No one can tell Such a gift it is Use it well Never forget how deeply I have loved you for all of these years ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). Eight hours of sleep every nite Or nine hours of sleep every nite Hydration and rest will keep you your best And handwashing frequently might Don't let the hate get you down Don't let the fear get you down Remain a good friend The weakest, defend Forget not your mask when in town In the end, in the end, it's for the better In the end, in the end, it's for the better A false sense of power did blind us Ignored all the signs to remind us We've cut down our trees We've killed all our bees So please let that meteor find us In the end, in the end, it's for the better In the end, in the end, it's for the better Please let the women take over Please let the women take over Again and again We're failed by the men So please let the women take over In the end, in the end, it's for the better In the end, in the end, it's for the better Make sure you fully remember Every committee and member And the vile orange twit They chose to acquit Vote them all out in November In the end, in the end, it's for the better In the end, in the end, it's for the better ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). Light You Up 03:00
Hey baby Can I light you up? Ooh baby Can I light you up? I'll play a song for you I'll make it up Fix you some breakfast Coffee in your favorite cup We'll hit the drive-in We won't see the show We'll cruise the boulevard Without a place to go Hey baby Can I light you up? Ooh baby Can I light you up? Let's have a party Play some 45s We'll dance 'til 3 or so And then we'll take a ride You wear your Jordans I'll wear my Skips We'll watch the sunrise Hearing Gladys and The Pips Hey baby Can I light you up? Ooh baby Can I light you up? We got no money But we don't care We'll hit the town like some eccentric millionaires We got this evening No strings attached We got the fireworks We just need a match Hey baby Can I light you up? Ooh baby Can I light you up? Hey baby. ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). All rights reserved.

Here's to the days you feel inspired Impossibly inspired You dance 'round the room Here's to the days you feel so inspired The ones when you literally swoon I'm certain there's one coming soon Here's to the days of inspiration Extreme palpitation The days you feel grand Here's to the days of inspiration When hope and good cheer never end I'm certain there's one 'round the bend Lean on your friends and let them lean Ever blooming, evergreen Leap together, pass or fail And may you never, ever lose your trail Here's to the days of extreme emotion When hearts become oceans Bathing your soul Here's to the days that will visit your dreams on the days that it seems you could use a good dream Here's to the days of extreme emotion Harmonic emotion Just past control Here's to the days of extreme emotion Guiding you far past the moon I'm certain there's one coming soon I'm certain that one's coming soon ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). Amy 04:11
Amy, it was such a conflicted sky The day that we said goodbye It didn't know what it wanted to do And neither did I All the truth and goodness, beauty and love All the things we hope we're rising above Well you rose above all of it The best I can say is that you lived what you loved And you nailed it But Amy, a double rainbow filled the sky The afternoon we said goodbye So off you go to wherever it is And we drift from the moment Every moment, we drift from a moment that seems ever further away The best I can say is you were real to yourself How you nailed it Yes, you did But Amy, a double rainbow split the sky The afternoon we said goodbye Off you go to wherever it is Off you go to wherever it is... ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). Jupiter's chasing the Moon Saturn will be rising soon Fireflies are in your eyes Summer, they're singing your tune Mars, ever red, unrefined Venus is grace, just behind Close your eyes And see your skies Summer, it's there in your mind The universe delights as you immerse yourself into it's endless blue And time, they say, is quick to run away But here's tonite taking flight How many steps to your bed? Stars filling your sleepy head A sunny day will come to play Summer, asleep in your spread ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). All rights reserved.

How Far 03:11
How far is far enough? How long is long enough? How low is low enough? How subservient is subservient enough? Now tell me. How fooled is fooled enough? How conned is conned enough? How played is played enough? Guess what: we've had enough You believe in nothing. I've no idea what you're talking about Tweets in all-caps, words in shouts All it does is shed no doubt That you've no idea what you're talking about You believe in nothing. Hot nonsense is all you know Hot nonsense. It's time to go. You believe in nothing. ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). All rights reserved.

The first flowers blooming remind me of you The mid-summer lilies The autumn ones too The ocean at sunrise The meadow at night Venus at twilight, impossibly bright It's only a matter of time Reunions can be so sublime We'll be together soon We'll be together soon We'll be close again like we were back when We'll be together soon I'm already planning our first round together It seems we may end up hungover forever The nights when the sidewalks were gracefully slanted The nights that we all took completely for granted It's only a matter of days Imagine the toast that we'll raise We'll be together soon We'll be together soon We'll be close again like we were back when We'll be together soon Just be be near you, and near you I'll be High-fives and hugs and a cocktail or three The streets will be teeming The gaslights turned on The bands won't stop playing 'til well after dawn Take care of yourself and each other Imagine what we'll rediscover We'll be together soon We'll be together soon We'll be close again like we were back when We'll be together soon ©2020 Summerland Endeavours (BMI). about

A collection of protest songs and lullabies. Recorded mostly while sequestered in a cabin deep in the northern Catskill Mountains over the course of a week in July 2020, Martin set a goal of a song a day: writing, recording, mixing. For the most part it happened. Here's the result.
